Pulse rifles as they currently are really need a slight buff because they're too easily outgunned by scout rifles and long range auto rifles. Here's what I think would be a simple formula (keep in mind that the figures below assume that you are mid-close range, if you're in a long range engagement, then add an extra burst (can be a mixed with precision/body damage)): high impact (360 fire rate) = 2 burst precision mid-impact (450 fire rate) = 3 burst precision low-impact (540 fire rate) = 5 burst precision
