I'm not mad that they have micro transactions, I'm mad that there is more emphasis on micro transactions than the other activities. Shell, ship, and sparrows were all taken away. All of them belonged to an activity, ex. Raids, Poe, vendors. But now they're all behind a pay wall. And there is more time spent on eververse because everything is well made, but the raid armor and prestige armor looks no different, and shows no effort.
