[b]Disclaimer this information may become obsolete with future firmware updates. This is accurate for firmware: 0.4x through 1.002[/b] I quite literally spent 3+ hours QA'ing the crap out of this thing. Here's what I've been able to (brute-forcefully) figure out: 1. Your password [b]CANNOT[/b] be longer than 32 characters 2. Your WiFi password [b]CAN[/b] safely use these characters: A through Z (uppercase) a through z (lowercase) 1234567890 !@#$^*-_() 3. Your WiFi password can [b]NOT[/b] use these characters: %&+ [i]NOTE: There may be others but these I've been able to rule out exclusively. I suspect there's a URL escaping bug that prevents you from using characters used by Query strings as separators and such.[/i] [u]Other Things To Note:[/u] 1. Once I finally got Ghost to connected successfully (and the firmware upgraded successfully) the final firmware was version: 1.002 (it went from 0.4x to 0.5x to 1.002) 2. Ghost seems to only use the 2.4Ghz Band exclusively 3. Ghost can connect to WPA2 via AES/CCMP (it might support TKIP but I didn't test it) 4. Your WiFi SSID CAN be hidden (i.e., not broadcasting) [u]How to reset your ghost:[/u] Quickly toggle the switch in the back 10 times very quickly then disconnect the power before any lights come back on, then reconnect it. If you did it correctly this will be the state of your Ghost: 1. The 4 outer lights will illuminate steadily 2. The Ghost's "eye" light will pulse slowly 3. The red power lights illuminate steadily 4. The Ghost will broadcast its SSID as: GHOST_COMPANION (i.e., [b]NOT[/b] GHOST_[i]<6 digit serial number>[/i]) [i]NOTE: Any you see any other combination of light states or flashing other than what I outlined above means you didn't reset it correctly.[/i]
