How to do Microtransactions correctly (From a Consumers standpoint)

- No stupid filler loot (Ex. Mods, useless sparrows and ships, etc.) - Make a smaller loot pool for Microtransactions. When they first started in Destiny 1 the loot pool was smaller and The endgame didn't clearly revolve around it. Everything was cosmetic, not all ships, sparrows and Shaders were stuck in that pool. It still revived hate but it was better than what we currently have. - Explain exactly what is available in the boxes and what you will be Guarunteed in each box. - Guaruntee certain items (Ex. Like the special engrams that guarantee certain weapon ornaments, make more of those that include exotic ships, etc.). Making it all rng clearly goes to show that it is just a slot machine. Also making them purchaseable straight up or in bundles for Silver and not dust is an option. Other games allow you to buy items straight up, like Warframe and For Honor (Suprised I even mentioned that one). - Don't revolve your endgame around it. This is the major problem illuding this game, a lack of content and progression turning this game into an Eververse shitshow. It's fine making one based around cosmetics but when 90% are behind a paywall that has an unbelivably long grind time without guarantee of anything ruins the experience completely, even if you consider it an experience. Slowly we are starting to see Ships, Ghost Shells, and more added into the loot pool at least but it's not much to work for. - Don't make in game content or Vendors obselite or useless in the process. Amanda Holiday, The lady who used it sell Shaders (forgot her name, sorry), the ship, sparrow and shader kiosks were all clearly changed or removed just for the sake to make people go to Eververse to buy everything. I know Amanda will have her part when Sparrow Racing comes by but still as it stands she has no reason to be in the game right now as a vendor. - Last but not least, create an actual endgame available from day 1 that doesn't lock everything valuble behind an rng paywall. From there don't throttle xp, lower gains or make a lack of activities or content to incentivise Eververse. We've seen what it did to this game, and as far as we can tell it's beyond repair. But there is an alternate solution, a simple one to save the future of the game. Simply get rid of Microtransactions and make a better game. The better the game the higher the ratings, sales, the less angry the community will be, etc. Knowing Bungie won't remove Eververse though feel free to touch up on my points and add more.
