"You know, you should stop struggling." Issac whispered to the woman, his hold tightening on her neck. "Or would you prefer not to breathe again?"
He dragged the woman further into the foliage of the forest, since being in the offices would create some attention to him if he was conversing. Once he thought he had gotten far enough, he would place his right hand on her neck, with the same amount of strength from before. He would pin her to the ground, letting his left arm free.

From there, the woman would attempt to pry his fingers off with one hand, while staring up at Issac silently. Simple brown eyes stared up at his, filled with fear at hate. There was a humane terror in her expression, though she would try to resist nonetheless. "T-The hell do you want," She tried crying out, though it was futile. "Trayven scouts.. they go capturing civvies now?"
-
"Ya know, I prefer it if you cooperate with me here. If you answer everything truthfully, I'll let you walk away without a single scar. If you don't, well..." With his left hand, Issac would bring out his tanto, flipping the blade into the air before holding it in a reverse grip, pointing it down at the woman. The man would then sport a grin full of malice, his normally blue irises turning a void black. Something told her that he was anything but human. "Now... What's the big fuсkin' deal with those artifacts you all are digging up? You trying to search for something?"
-
"F-Fuсking hell," The operator's eyes widened then, her face turning a deathly pale as her thrashing suddenly stopped. Her gloved hand would rest upon Issac's, before retreating as she released a shaky sigh. "Okay. O-Okay. I.. I handle communications, that's it. We're collecting these runes because they're leading to something outside of this war - something's manipulating us to fight, we think - there's another island that's holding all of the runes, supposed to be more there.. and another that's abandoned.." She closed her eyes for a moment, sighing in a panicked manner before looking up again. "I-In the abandoned island, we encountered something there. Cut off all the comms and.. and sent us the remains."
-
Edited by Tamedfrog: 12/24/2017 1:47:04 AM'Hm, interesting.' Issac mused to himself. 'Something to inform the head honchos about.' "So, why abandon the island? Something there that scared the fuсk outta ya guys? Because it seems like it, from the way you're telling me here."
-
"Didn't just scare us.. Slaughtered, though, would be the right word. That place's off limits.." The woman sighed this time, yet she still remained still. There was still terror in those eyes, yet it seemed evident that she would at least try to fight back. If she had the chance, though another thought ran through her mind.
-
Issac's eyes would shift back to blue, the malicious smile now gone. Instead it was just replaced with a smirk. "Well, thanks. You've been a big help. Now..." Flipping his tanto, he rose it into the air, bringing it down handle-first. It would effectively knock her out, as he let go of her neck. "...be a good girl and stay right here."
-
She was knocked out, alright. Now, Issac had a general idea of what to do, and where to go: he could focus on the acquired runes on this island, perhaps see where they lead, or.. He could pick up on where Alpha had seemingly left off, as she had abandoned her island; the island that had been left entirely by Tribune forces.
-
He looked back to the encampment, as he sheathed his tanto back. Might as well gather some information about those runes. As he snuck back within range of the camp, he would scout out the area, trying to see how many of them were there, and what kind of firepower they were packing. Perhaps keep note of the terrain.
-
There were roughly fourteen other troops within the small encampment, with rather modernized weaponry: assault rifles, submachine guns, pistols, and modern swords and shields. Fourteen to one, and Issac had the element of surprise. Picking them off, one-by-one, could work.
-
Easy Prey. He planned out a path to take out the ones with the guns first, as they could provide to be troublesome. The ones with melee weapons would come next, since he could handle them easily if there were to be aware of his presence. He also took note of any weapon caches, if there were any.
-
There did seem to be a cache for weapons: a large armory, stocked with melee weapons, including swords, shields, and stun batons, alongside ballistic weaponry as well. They were stocked, but not for a full-scale assault, nor a surprise attack either.
-
An Idea began to pop into Issac's mind: it would probably alert everyone in the camp, but... He began to look for anything that could explode. Grenades, ammunition, anything similar that he could set fire on and blow up.
-
Conveniently.. there was a lot of ammunition in the armory, fitting enough, alongside boxes labeled "Flares", "Fire", and "Explosives". He would cause panic, but panic was an effective tactic after all.
-
Issac hummed in approval, as he began to dig through the armoury, pulling out some explosives to set down. If he was going to do this, might as well put on a show. After he had set up enough explosives to bring down the entire armoury, he looked at his handiwork for a few seconds before looking down to the grenade he was juggling around with a chuckle. Beginning to walk out of the armoury, he enchanted the grenade with his spellflame, whistling as he tossed it behind him after pulling out the pin. The explosive would spread to the others, making them burn twice as bright and twice as long, while leaving behind a blue spectacle. At that point he had walked out of the armoury, right into the open where everyone could see him while he was casually strolling like it was a Sunday afternoon. Then the show would start.
-
To say the least, there was chaos. Those Tribune soldiers with firearms would focus on Issac, though, seeing as he was the only combatant.. revealed, anyway. While most of them trained their attention on the surrounding forest, four men aimed rifles at Issac. "Freeze!"
-
Issac merely ignored their threat, as he laughed boisterously. It was like they were pathetic, trying to threaten him with such weak weaponry. "Man... Don't you just LOVE the smell of gunpowder and ozone in the morning? It's great, let me tell you that." In the event that they would open fire, Issac would use his revolver to fire right into their barrels, in order to disable them. His mind would enter a state of deep concentration as he did so, using his inhuman reflexes to disable them quickly. A result of being a mutant, though he wasn't a human from the start anyways, so he didn't mind.
-
Indeed, the four would have taken to firing, only to discover that their rifles were disabled and jammed by Issac entirely. Their captain stammered at the sight, as a few of the more desperate soldiers drew their swords. Yet the captain would simply sigh, nodding. "Units, fall back. Initiate a D-Rank Engagement Pattern." As if speaking through a radio, the captain shot out his command. D-Rank was rather.. well, degrading though.
-
"Huh. What's this? Ah well, not going to bother finding out what that means." Holstering his revolver, he crouched down low as he smirked once again. And seemingly in an instant, Issac sped towards the captain at the speed of a runaway train. Tanking through anything or anyone that got in his way if there were any, he eventually reached him and used his momentum to knee him in the face, sending him crashing against what was behind him. "Pfft. I don't need weapons to defeat the likes of you..." Issac scoffed, as he turned around to face everyone.
-
Issac had fallen into their trap, on that note. Those with firearms, or at least the ones with functional weapons, would surround the man and fire their weapons. Only that they did not fire ballistic rounds - no, they would fire jolts, like stun guns. They intended to subdue him, not gun him down.
-
This may seem like a d!ck move, but...
Issac did his best to stay upright, as his muscles spasmed and made him stumble from the multiple shocks he got. After they had all stopped firing, he had fell to his knees, trying to stabilise himself. His entire body twitched, and he seemed like he was going to fall over, though... "D-damn... Kinda overboard, d-doncha th-think?" Issac unsteadily stood up, still twitching from the electricity shocks. If he hadn't inhibited his pain receptors right there, he would've been subdued almost immediately. Bad thing was that he'd only have a few moments before he would feel the aftereffects, and he had to make it quick to take care of them all.

Edited by Weeaboo Of War: 1/1/2018 5:53:37 AM
You're alright.
"G-Goddamnit!" The captain would yell in his confusion and sudden pain, as a few of the soldiers seemed amazed, even afraid, of the man's apparent endurance. "Fire stuns when ready!" One of the soldiers would yell, as the armed men and women would prepare to recharge their stunning tools.
-
Some of them would never get the chance. Quickly moving on one of the men, he quickly punched him in the solar plexus, ripping his weapon away and using it to swing it against his head, knocking him out. Then he would throw the stun rifle at one of the others, hitting their good arm to disable their ability to fire. Reaching another person in less than a second, he would chop their neck, causing them to stumble back on reflex as he moved behind them to use as a shield for the oncoming stun projectiles.
-
No stun projectiles would come, only the wrath of melee weaponry as Issac would be swarmed by melee units, or at least those who had taken up to using melee weapons. Stun batons would ignite with electricity, as one baton flew towards Issac's neck, the other to his stomach.
-
Edited by Tamedfrog: 1/4/2018 9:43:35 AMIssac would use the person he was currently using as an shield to block the one that was aimed at his neck first, then threw them towards the other one that went for his abdomen. Moving at the stun baton user who went for him first, he first restrained the arm that he used for gripping the weapon, headbutting him to stun him. He would then place his hands on his neck and lower body, lifting him up and throwing him at the most grouped up of men, bowling them over with his enhanced strength from the throw. Then he would perform a roundhouse kick at the person who came up from behind him, knocking them out immediately. Then he turned to the next, chopping their wrist as they raised their baton to throw their swing off as he tripped them and quickly caught him at the neck, using him once again as a shield for any oncoming attacks.
Too much actions?
-
You're good, lol. These guys are sorta tests, I suppose.
At that, the soldiers would stop throwing themselves at Issac, as the man's superior strength, speed, and tactical approach to being outnumbered had cause them to stop. Yet the group would continue to circle him, or at least the remnants of them: eight soldiers in total, all clad in white uniforms. Issac had made short work of them. Though, negotiations didn't seem to be on their mind, as a sole one raised his rifle. A test, perhaps a final time to surrender. Though why surrender when you were crushing the enemy? Perhaps it was desperation.
