Or just stop playing.
Once you understand there is a serious problem. The best course of action is to stop playing it.

How is this not louder then not playing? Haha doesn't make sense, I would say this is very loud in bungie's ear and not saying anything would be stupid.. I'm not calling you stupid I'm just saying if we didn't do this then we would just take load after load of crap

Losing money and revenue is what catches the attention of the Publishers. Why would it take Government intervention to stop predatory practices of a Video game? A visual medium that you buy for entertainment. We just need parents to be more aware of the products they are buying. Stores should have those rating on big posters and draw attention to what consumers should be aware of. To that extent I support gambling lootboxes not being allowed on rated M and below games but must be on Adult rated games which has the support of several states that are going forward in this case. Also look at the source. Activision are the ones who pull this stuff off, not Bungie.

Yeah man I'm on your side, no worries there. Trust me I'm all for bungie/Activision to see there mistakes. I've stop logging on to the game because I know my one number matters. As long as we're yelling in there ear and not just playing the game then they have a serious problem on there hands. I'm glad lots of people have stopped support of this game until things change. Like I couldn't care for the loot cuz it's so deep in there RNG I just can't push myself to play. More support guardain, that's all we need!

Actually acting on it would be the best cause of action. Unlike them football players who say something and never do.

Edited by Iccotak: 12/23/2017 11:28:41 PMYou are speaking. By not buying and playing you're speaking with your money and your time. You are telling them "No, I will not support this practice with my resources" and that is all you have to do

I'm actually supporting banning anti loot boxes in the states. Also yes i guess me not playing would be considered in action of this is not okay activision.
-
Actually the best course was to never buy the game.

This guy gets it or have some self control on your silver dust xD

Nah, just don't play it. Investing your time into means you still support them. If Activision sees people are playing, its going to find ways to monetize the experience. If player numbers drop they are more likely to cut it out
-
Yeah not playing will show them oh boy like that's worked before

What is important for a business? To have returning paying customers. Losing a player base i.e. returning paying customers hurts a game. And it did the first time around. Bungie sold 500 million copies at launch of D1 but had a huge drop in returning players so they worked hard to provide content. What happened is that when Activision saw that players were returning they decided to monetize the crap out of the game. People saw this coming with the first lootbox stuff in D1.
