It really doesn't matter, because Warframe is not a First Person Shooter. Forza 7 is a better game than Destiny, it's also not a First Person Shooter. The core difference between third person and first person is the player immersion. Third person I am controlling a warrior. First person I am the warrior. These two game types are not the same.

1 ReplyIf you care about paying for things, sure, whatever. Warframe is "100% FREE", we get it. I for one don't get in a twist over spending a few bucks for in-game junk, but I [i]do[/i] care about core game mechanics, which Destiny excels at and Warframe is sorely missing.

I tried getting into it several times and it is a PS2 quality, fundamentally broken game with TONS of pay to win loot. You can LITERALLY spam the sword button and blandly cut your way through every boring level. This game is for tots, there shouldn't be a single informed adult even trying this game. It sucks with a capital BALLS. That is almost a compliment to Bungie, but not really. The ones keeping Bungie alive are the tech peeps. The ones that suck it are DeeJ and his overpaid, douche bag handlers which are ruining the game. Deej is an evil viallain to most, just get someone at least likable if your going to keep lying every week. It's pathetic.

I can get anything I want in warframe without paying a single penny. I can 100% confirm that you have access to everything without paying. Ask someone who didn't purchase the latest dlc in Destiny how they enjoy the raid lair. Destiny is 100% pay to play and pay even more to keep playing, while warframe is 100% free, and you only pay if you want to speed up the grind. I don't care about opinions as to which game is better, but I do get a bit angry when people spout nonsense when they're completely uninformed. "Yeah, but my buddy said that his friend couldn't figure out how to mod and that you had to pay real money to buy everything in the game." Your buddy is full of shit and his friend is bad at video games.

16 RepliesOh look another Warframe fanboy! I played Warframe and hated it. It was boring and ugly. Progression felt like work and was not fun especially when paying money gives you a huge advantage over those who don't spend. When I quit I never went back to their forums to tell them my opinions on what games are better then warframe.

I love Warframe, but I don't try and convince people to love it too because it's a very different type of game. Most gamers know it exists mate, let them join on their own if they want to. People just get pissed if you keep banging on about it.

It has over the top bugs and glitches around every little corner, completely unbalanced from A to Z. But hear this my man: Warframe's grind is way worse than collecting 10 spinmetals for my sword back in D1. It's grind-untill-you-give-up-so-you-pay. SO...SO...UNIMAGINITIVE BORING... Also, Warframe has a playberbase of 40 to 100,000. IF any game is dead it's warframe. Even at it's lowest of lows, D2 still has 2 million active users everyday and still the best shooter mechanics in the bussiness. We can only go up. Now take your Warframe and get the ef out of my forums. Happy Hollidays and see you at the Dawning.
