No, you wouldn't be Ok if it increased by only 1 full percentage point. Here's why...
If the normal drop rate is something like 4 out of 100 events gives an exotic. The 3oC raises that to 5. If you take an (made up) average of 7 minutes per event - that adds up to over 11 hours of game play. You need three 3oC to cover that, 75 legendary shards. 75 legendary shards and a shit ton of play to earn one extra exotic that's likely to be a duplicate.
At that point you're better off saving your legendary shards to purchase the fated engram once a week from Xur. If that's the case what's the point of adding 3oC to the game?
Now you know why people think these are a rip off and are disappointed in them.
That’s why I would be good. Because 1 percent isn’t worth it and I’d know NOT to waste my shards.
As I stated, this game gives out way too much loot anyway so anything and extra just kills the little longevity it has.
3 of coins ruined the second half of D1 in terms of loot grind. No more special moments getting a cool exotic.
Now if it was 1% and people have thousands of shards and don’t care about wasting some that’s fine for them too.
Not a big deal, shouldn’t even be in this watered down, casual sequel in the first place 🤷🏻♂️
