I MISS MY TOUCH OF MALICE GO TO HELL D2

I dont really get these posts about Destiny 1 being better. Sure it has more content, but lets think about it for half a second.. You and others are comparing D2 vs D1 that has had 4 expansions. Destiny 2 has just released its first. And tbh.. Destiny 1 also mostly had crappy expansions. They didnt start to get it right untill expansion 3 with TTK. If you truly want to compare, then compare D1 vanilla at launch and D2 vanilla at launch. Im not going to jump on the bandwagon and rage about how a game with 4 dlc`s and years of tweaks are better than a game that released 2 months ago (on pc) and only has had its first expansion. Where masterworks got implemented 4 days ago and we have yet to see the full impact and future posibilities that brings along both for pve and pvp content. Sure Eater of Worlds was short, but it was expected to be short, story in the DLC only lasted 2 hours (but so was the stories in D1 dlcs). Things havent been tweaked propperly yet. As to be expected a few months after release, and alot of stuff still feels a bit underpowered and easy to get when it comes to exotics. And also its kind of important to remember that we are not going to see major game changes to D2 any time soon. To change the core programming of a game is alot of work and costly at that as it needs a team of developers. So the changes you can expect to see are those that are easy to adjust through databases such as stats or droprates. Meaning minor tweaks to balance the game. If you dont like a movie, or a sound track you cant expect the artist to remake it due to criticism. And its the same with games. Just because you can patch stuff does not mean you can alter the game completly. You can alter minor stuff. So go a head and play D1, i for one cant wait to see what Destiny 2 evolves into becoming with future DLCs and Tweaks. And if i get bored, i can always play something else while i wait for the next content update to hit =)

I am actually enjoying the expansion so nope you can go on without me. Most of the complainers only did the campaign and nothing else. Also you got a lot of campaign anyway for a small year one expansion so you all need to stop crying and go after the forged weapons like you are supposed to.

I have not bought CoO. So I don't really have a valid opinion of the Dlc, however from what I've seen in videos and heard on forums, I'm not missing much. I did enjoy leveling my 3 characters to 305 in vanilla, and have not done the raid and only one nightfall. It has become a bit stale. So I went back to D1 and deleted my Hunter(never liked his face) and started a new one. It fills my need to grind. It's a shame that Iron Banner and live support have left D1, Rip SRL. I've rather enjoyed replaying through the story. No tokens or annoying chatty or snarky vendors to deal with. The Cryptarc in the Reef didn't really even annoy me as much. At least he has a few different lines, unlike Whorethorne (that's just how its pronounced), who says the same fxing thing every time I visit her. It annoys me even more that she takes credit for starting clans. From what I've heard Bro Vance is an annoying sycophant of Osiris and the player as well. This is just dumb to me.(imo) Anyway, I would rather cringe at Variks then deal with either of those NPCs. I'm sure there's someone out there that diagrees with my opinion and just can't get enough of chatty vendors with annoying repetitive snarky dialog. To you I say, enjoy D2, it's chock full of'em. I'm not sure if dropping D2 or even deleting characters and all, would even show up on Bungie's radar, however I'm positive that they monitor the population of D1's servers. What I don't get is why they would unsupport them. It just seems to me that they're wasting potential playerbase draw. I mean if you can pick up a copy if Destiny with all dlc included for 5 bucks from a retailer or any other source, that person would immediately see the value and would be more likely to probably buy more current titles, or spend money in silver, based on their low original investment.(imo) Maybe.

Wow, are you guys kidding me? Of course Destiny 2 was a failure! The game has so much wasted potential, and too much focus on freakin Eververse! But here’s the thing... As a player, we want more, we want to do more, we require more content to make us come back to the game. But still, even though I have sympathy for Bungie right now, they kind of gotten themselves cornered. The Activision agreement says: Season, DLC, Season, Season, Season, Season, DLC, for 4 years. After, they make a new game. And Bungie has to take account of the player base complaints, so in a rush, of course they’re going to make a “crappy game”. Look at the first Destiny, look at the Vault of Glass. Look at the quality of the raid. In D2, the raid was rushed to the point where you can see certain textures clip through, and slightly broken mechanics (Dogs and Gauntlet). Bungie is rushing out content to appease the player base. Remember, year 4 Destiny had 4 YEARS OF CONTENT. Destiny 2 has probably only 1 year of content right now. Watch, come back in 4 years, and this game will be great, hopefully The only thing I could possibly say is: Bungie messed up badly removing random rolls. It gives no chance of grind anymore, and the motivation to keep on playing for a “god roll”. Bungie also lowered the skill ceiling way too much. Remember air combat? Remember how it literally secured kills in other games like Halo? Guess what! In D2, it’s crippled. The only weapons that are good in air combat are sub machine guns, Sidearms, and hand cannons. And these weapons aren’t in a great spot, unless they’re Better Devils, Omolon Sidearms, and Antiope-D. Crucible is literally an ever bigger problem! I am a total fan of hand cannons. My first infused Masterwork was my Judgement, yet, I can’t even secure a kill because of freakin flinch and team shot. Hand cannons require skill, and even with skill, they’re not good. People only use what’s easy, that being auto rifles, and scouts(Mida). There is no skill involved. Even worse, you’re set in stone once you have a bad kdr. No one wants you on their trials team, no one wants you for their pvp team, unless you raise your kdr, literally by using what’s easy! That being the meta. Now, the people who have true skill, are being crippled, by noobs have no aim, and team shot. So in the end, I agree Destiny 2 is lackluster, but I guess we just have to come back to it in a while. In the meantime, I’ll just keep on playing, trying to get that freakin flawless in Trials. Why is it so hard? Could it be that I’m a squeaker, have an average Kd of 1, or Destiny 2’s low skill ceiling, and the crippling of weapons not in the meta.

Bring back the raids with a new feel but keeping there Originality for the guardians who missed out on the amazing experiences that you made for us. I know, what your thinking, ( isn't that milking it a little to much)... well yes and no but it's something the fans would love and i would love!! I put so many hours into D1 and so many people have as well and for those hours to have Reflected along side to side with the Developments you have made Towards The current State Destiny is now, it would have been amazing seeing The destiny universe Expanding with one base game. This would be a nice way to get back on ur feet Bungie. No kidding EVERY single player i have run accros, they tell me the same thing (" i wish all the raids would come back") ("i miss D1") ('You guys wanna go back and do some of the old raids") I honestly was hoping since year one that destiny's map would be continuously growing and growing, but sadly it was just wishful thinking. Boom, All those hours down the drain LIKE IMAGINE!!! this plus all that D 1 has to offer!!! But in one game. Ugh Bungie like what are you doing!!! Please bring back the old And make it the new again! And I repeat!!!!! The fans will love you bungie!!!! I swear that they will!!! The bad feedback will stop and I Guarantee you will make all the gamers and fans you lost to come back!! Excited screaming like little fan girls/boys!!! So? Is all this even possible? I think it is! And Bungie the Destiny community will keep pushing back again and again with bad feedback that little by little you guys will be made to mold D2 more into that Amazing game you guys pushed aside, (destiny). Tell then I'm deleting D2 and should others WE ARE the Destiny community Not Destiny 2

tl;dr I play what I want.

Honestly though if I want to do a mission or a quest for something then I’m gonna play D2 because I’ve played all of D1. I still play D1 sometimes but I’m not going to all the time because it gets old real fast because there simply isn’t anything that I haven’t done. So stop throwing hissy fits about how some people actually like to play D2. Just saying. Preferences are just that: what one single person wants to do. Shouldn’t matter to anyone else what someone [i]else[/i] wants to do. But oh well. Throw fits, seems like everyone on this earth has some reason to get offended over stupid things nowadays.

1. No. I'm fine with it and the game isn't an important part of my life, so I don't feel like throwing a tantrum. 2. You're still playing a Bungie/Activision product you dingus. They'll count players as players in either game. If you want to make an impact, you shouldn't have bought the game and waited instead. Or to a lesser extent, just stop playing D2 AND D1. 3. Trying to hurt them when they're trying to help and turn things around doesn't help us.

Why would I play a game that I've done everything in? I don't prefer Destiny 1 over Destiny 2, but even if I did I still wouldn't play it because it isn't new.

I've done everything in D1, I don't want to play it anymore. Ill stick with D2 for now, it seems to be getting better, 3 lairs, 3 raids x 2 if I can be arsed. Flashpoints, milestones, masterworks, forging blah blah blah I aint got time for D1 and I have fun in D2!

No thx enjoying D2 on balance. Feedback is being heard and Bungie are making changes that are heading in right direction. Same thing happened in D1. Calm down Che.

Barring a massive change of course for DLC toward the things that made D1 great they won't get my money. That's just me though. Big D1 fan.

As much as i agree with you about d2 being dead and Bungie betraying our trust and whatnot, they are already aware of the problems with their playerbase. The remaining players will shortly start to hemorrhage anyway, and we should try to enjoy d2 as long as possible, until everybody is gone or Bungie has fixed the issues. Also d1 isn't a better game. It is just a differennt game.

I knew D2 was crapp since it's beta. I only play D2 when friends need a "6th". Want to know why people like me still play D1? Take a look at the director in D2. Pick a planet, any planet, and open up it's map. Notice the amount of available missions, strikes, and activities you see. Now look at a map of any planet in D1.

Since Destiny Tracker doesn’t separate the games, this wouldn’t affect Bungie in any way. It would just look like people are playing destiny 2.
