Blackthorn's list of D2 fixes. Upvote if you agree.
Hey Bungie,
This is just my list of suggestions for ways that certain issues I've had, and have heard from others regarding the state of D2, can be resolved. I've been a consistent player since the beta of D1.

Inventory:
While most players do not need an increase in space for weapons/armor, almost everyone I know has to keep deleting shaders from inventory to pick new ones up. They're shaders, if they're going to be one time use, we should at least have the ability to hold all of the available shaders options in game without taking up our valuable vault space. The fix here is just to increase the shader space in inventory to match whatever the total number of shaders available since launch is at any given time. That, or giving them their own dedicated slots in the vault. This would solve the dismantle shaders by stack issue too.
We also need a collections page in the vault to purchase ships and sparrows that we've collected already. This is in place for emblems and exotics, but not for ships/sparrows a la D1.
Crucible:
Random game type playlists are ineffective. In D1 we could choose what game type we wanted to play and it wouldn't change mid playlist. Removing previously provided choice is just a bad business move. It only serves to degrade your image in the eyes of the players. It makes it seem like the option is available, but you're holding out to present it as new content. The fix would be to add in single game type playlists, or even custom playlists. Custom playlists would even seem like a new feature. Make it so you can select multiple game types that you want to play and include all of those in the rotation.
Strikes:
Same issue as crucible. No way to select and play specific strikes as previously available in D1. The fix is the same. Add in planetary nodes to allow selection of strikes on the planet they take place on.
Supers:
Arcstrider: needs a speed buff to be competitive in crucible. As it is now, it's too slow to be able to use effectively as a roaming super. It needs a speed buff like the striker so people can't just slowly back up and get away from it.
Stormcaller: needs a damage buff. With how slow the stormcaller is and how short the duration is, it should almost guarantee a kill if someone gets hit with it, chained or otherwise. I'm not saying a huge buff though. Just something small. Under 25%.
Weapons:
Get rid of static rolls. That's not the same as adding masterworks. I mean all guns, no static rolls except for end game/event content drops, raid, trials, iron banner. They make a gun unique and, bonus for you guys, increase play time. People hunt for God rolls and spend much more time getting the perfect gun than with statics. Static rolls make the weapon meta boring. Everyone uses the same guns in crucible because they're the best and everyone has them. Remove static rolls and the meta becomes much more diverse. D1 had a problem with everyone using the same guns in the beginning, so you added random rolls. Then you added reforging and everyone rerolled until they got God rolls and used only those, so you removed reforging. You obviously know that there's an issue with everyone using the same weapons or rolls, so I honestly don't understand the decision to make everything in D2 static. I suggest either removing static rolls entirely, with the above end game/event exceptions, or keeping static roll drops, but adding reforging back in. I realize that is kind of what you were going for with masterworks, but it's not nearly the same thing. The base gun is still the exact same as everyone else's, so the top meta guns are still going to be the top. Now they'll just have one specific stat increase above basic versions. Actual reforging would remove this issue. Entirely new perk trees would populate items and provide current lower tier weapons to shine.
Exotics:
Mida Multi Tool: please find some way to nerf it so it's not the top crucible gun anymore. It's been the most complained about weapon in PVP for years. I know a lot of people say you should just bring other guns up to its level, but that has never worked. I don't call for nerfs generally, but this one has been a Thorn in the side of PVP for a long time, pun intended.
Last but not least, Iron Banner:
I'll be blunt. You've ruined it. Iron Banner is literally supposed to be guardian's testing their power against other guardians. The only thing that differentiated this event from normal crucible was the light advantages. Currently it is literally just crucible with Iron Banner tokens. There's no draw or novelty to the event. I know you're trying to be more casual friendly, but you've neutered the best event in Destiny in the process. If you're going to remove light advantages, something needs to be added to make it special besides just gear. As such, I have 2 suggestions for this actually.
1: add power advantages back to Iron Banner. It definitely wouldn't be difficult to do this. There is currently no end game PVP content that requires power levels. Make Iron Banner the one to do it. It makes sense with the lore. It makes sense with the reason it takes place. It really just makes sense. It worked in D1 with minimal if not zero complaint. In fact, I have never seen anyone request changes to Iron Banner, other than frequency of loot, until D2, excepting that one rift week.
2: if you really want to keep power advantages off, then make Iron Banner the only 6v6 game mode. This would make it unique while still keeping it casual.
Everyone loved D1 Iron Banner. You need to bring back some aspect of that event to D2 for it to feel like its old self again.

That's my list of grievances and proposed solutions. I'm sure there's more that I could think of, but these are the biggest issues I see with D2 currently.
Sincerely,
BlackthornWolfe
PS: Credit where it's due, a few of my previous issues (not ones listed here) have been fixed as of the 12/12/17 update. Namely, Shadowshot not suppressing on direct hit, three of coins, and being able to purchase items directly from vendors.
