So yeah.....never thought I’d be back here but addiction is strong on the forums. I think. Theory anyway.
So if you’re here just to be an asswipe that is angry, then just please don’t. These are just ideas, not set in stone.
I would like to have a nice and thought out conversation, not a repeat of Battlefront 2. Anyways, let’s go.
Game mode 1: Capture
“Sometimes controlling zones is not enough, we must take them away entirely”
-Capture the flag
-4v4
-Both teams have flags, one red (bravo), the other blue (Alpha)
-Match length: 15 minutes
-Score to win: 3 flags
-Players must grab flags and bring them to their home base for the point. When a player picks up a flag, they will enter third person, like a sword, but they will be unable to attack, Use abilities including jump, but will gain a speed boost
-Teammates must defend their flag and escort their carriers
Relic Run
“Sometimes a moving target is easier than a solitary one”
-Consider this game mode like Oddball from halo. Someone on the team holds a relic, and that team gains points based on how long the team holds the relic. Points are earned slowly though, 1 point per 3 seconds
-Max score: 70
-Match length: 12 minutes
-Relic carrier is in third person, and much like the flag, they will be unable to kill anyone while holding the relic with abilities or guns
-5v5
Combined Arms
“Light isn’t always the greatest weapon, sometimes it’s a good old fashioned Tank”
-Vehicle death match. Either Clash or Control
-Pikes will spawn immediately
-Heavy pikes and Interceptors will spawn after 2 minutes
-The drake will spawn after 3 minutes, and spawn right before the match ends
-The drake, and the heavy pike will not be able to spawn their tracking rockets during the match
-The drake will have increased reload time to compensate for the large Blast radius
-Interceptors will shoot 2 shots at once, with a 2.5 second reload
(This next one is my personal favorite)
Battlegrounds
“We need to stick together, the darkness is closing in. Show them your light, and the guns of the city ”
-8 players against large waves of un-ending enemies
-10 waves of increasingly difficult enemies
-Enemies depend on the map (planet) it takes place on. For example, Nessus will be Fallen and Vex. Or earth will be Fallen, Cabal, and Taken
-Killing enemies and completing waves will grant Credits. These credits will be used to buy special buffs such as vehicles, or orbs of light, ammo, or even team buffs
-And no, these are not bought with real money. You earn them in game. And the amount you get is based on the amount of enemies you kill, and when you complete a wave
-Each wave will have special objectives such as defending a target, Killing a boss, or collecting special objects
-There will be three versions of the battlegrounds.
Normal: No modifiers. 230 power at the start. Unlimited lives
Heroic: two random modifiers for the match. 270 power at the start
Darkness Ascendant: 3 modifiers for every round and limited respawns. 5 lives per player. 290 power at the start. Some waves will be timed
-Each wave is completed once the objective is complete. For example, you kill a boss, and that competes a wave. Hold out for 3 minutes while defending a Drill? Completion
-Offers raid like Rewards

I made a new exotic called the "pay wall" It creates a ward of dawn like effect which enemies cannot escape unless they pay me 50k glimmer or accept defeat.
