Dear Bungie and Family Fireteams, A long time ago Bungie decided destiny needed to update and then the networking changed. From this point on thousands and thousands of FAMILIES, ROOMMATES and LAN parties were met with constant disconnect errors because destiny servers were no longer able to support multiple consoles on a single network. Many of those affected by these errors posted their issues on your forums where they were met with "cookie-cut" responses about how it was on their end. Families like mine took all your troubleshooting, all your walkthroughs and all your possible solutions. Granted, for a very brief period of time, there was little to no error. The family of guardians in my household was able to play Destiny together once more. Now Destiny 2 comes out, and it's greatest enemy has shown its face once more. This is an enemy far more deadly than the darkness which brought the collapse of the golden age of man. This is an enemy which brings the collapse of family fireteams! I speak of network errors, exclusive to the Destiny universe. In other worlds, other games, our family's LAN is untouched and we enjoy hours of fun-filled carnage and achievement. Yet when we aim our sights at Destiny 2, we are deemed unworthy. Bungie, we family fireteams need your genuine help, and attention on the matter. Your current posts on solving this issue no longer work and family fireteams have expressed this fact countless times. Your updates have created a glitch in your system, and it is a glitch which disables the ability to play together on a LAN during public events, social spaces, and raid encounters. During any time outside of these types of events family fireteams under a LAN are okay. This is a problem on your end Bungie, and please address it for your family fireteams. Look into this barrage of errors and communicate that you will investigate this issue. Let us know that you care. We family fireteams know, lately, that your team has a lot of game breaking issues and dissatisfied players. We family fireteams are experiencing them with you. We family fireteams understand that your team is trying to deliver and fill a fantastic universe. We family fireteams aim to fill your universe with joyful experiences. We believe that Bungie is a family that works tirelessly to bring a great universe to life. With the holidays coming, I have but one Christmas wish from Bungie: Let the family fireteams play together again!
