The Sun's heat mechanic not on Mercury?
I really enjoy that burning mechanic outside on The Almighty, having to dive from cover to cover, staying in the shade or slowly burning death.
Isn't Mercury close enough for this to be the case too? Would of been a nice challenging feature too add to free roam, it wouldn't of made the map seem so small I think.
Maybe I guess it would become stale after awhile trying to farm? What's your thoughts?

8 RepliesIn the Destiny 1 lore it was actually explained that Mercury isn’t as close to the sun as it appears. When the Vex transformed it, they made it part of their timeline. Meaning that it doesn’t really exist in our timeline anymore, explaining why the sun position does not effect the inhabitability of the planet.
