I don't see many hunters using their invisibility abilities in PvP, so I wasn't sure how well it worked. I picked up a Graviton Forfeit from the CoO DLC, and tried to set up my hunter as a void stealth character, doing what I can to ensure I could keep going invisible as much as I possibly can, even trying to use Rat King in doing so (so far not my fave gun in PvP). In doing this I realized something.....Invisibility is shit in PvP.
In every instance when I go stealth and turn corners, I'm getting shot at by people at a decent distance away, making it always feel like I'm not invisible in the first place. After a few matches like this, I'm wondering what the exact point of invisibility is anyways. In PvE it's not very good, as you could easily just hide behind an object if you like, so I figured it would be a strong PvP focused attribute. It seems either I'm mistaken, or I'm missing something completely.
Is anyone else having issues like this?

Invisibility is useless in Pvp. Too many aimbot hackers that will instantly invade, and shoot you once and kill you while you're invisible. It's total BS. Bungie needs to stop bringing out Pvp modes, till hacking is fixed or banned.

Invis is absolutely useless on pc because aim assist isnt a thing there. Its only good on console against scrubs that completely rely on aim assist to hit their targets. Those same scrubs come here and piss and moan about it being overpowered because they don't know how to aim.

Played some more with invisibility build. Rat King became better once I used it more, but it seems that the act of invisibility on PC differs greatly then on console. From what I can tell reading, when you go inviso on console, the games aim assist turns off, making it severely difficult to even hit someone. Since PC doesn't use Aim assist, invisibility is just basically a new skin that anyone can see and hit as they please. Went back to my Arc Grenade build. I just don't see the viability of invisibility for hunters on PC.

Absolutely. Do you play PvP?!?

1) Rat King is best gun 2) Rat King is best gun 3) Invisibility is most helpful in CQC (for console) because it weakens aim-assist and stops weapon tracking. A good player will continue to shoot you anyway because eyeballs, but it's handy.
