I'm really trying to understand the reasoning behind the shoulder charge nerf, and some explanation would be nice.
Absolutely nobody asked for a shoulder charge nerf. The distance isn't changed when "locked on" to an enemy, so why nerf the out-of-combat charge? Was it for some reason actually important to Bungie to nerf a titan dash/jump? The titan effectiveness in pvp is unchanged from this shoulder charge nerf, so why?
The only thing this nerf changed is that playing titan is clunky and annoying now. Why bungie?

Nerf seems unnecessary to me, but I understand why. Titan is supposed to be the heavy tank class and it is currently STILL the fastest class. They needed a slight agility nerf and I guess this is what they decided on. I think it would have been better to just have a second after a non-contact shoulder charge where you can't move yet.

This nerf is so -blam!-ing stupid
-
For real....when was my shoulder charge distance with no target an issue?
-
I thought they did it to keep people from pushing others off of heavy spawns.

I would like the see the reasoning just cause I can't figure out why. At the same time, if it wasn't being used for advantage, why do people care so much? Was it an advantage or wasn't it? People need to make up their minds, cause if it wasn't then who gives a crap that a potentially unintended use was removed, and if it was then of course it was removed.

Edited by starscream1479: 12/7/2017 4:35:43 PMyea no lie i used to use it to jump bigger gaps and last night i died trying to do that , i had no clue they nerfed the crap out of it. its not even a one hit kill anymore and it has a cool down ..lol i i mean next up they're just gonna make it give your enemy a high five.

That's what you get for playing Destiny 2.

Edited by Aqua: 12/6/2017 3:19:33 PMBecause you abused it to gain an unfair advantage. It's an attack, not a speed booster.

What did they do to it?? It was never in need of a nerf... didn’t one shot people and it was a Melee ability so you had a cooldown on it unlike in D1.

Titans are always complaining about something

Bungies vision of a titan is slow and tanky, people were using the charge as a modified version of titan skating. As a hunter I could never catch up with someone who used charge so bungie took notice of this and nerfed it. I honestly rather have had a buff to hunter speed instead of nerfing the titans, nerfs never fix anything
