This isn't a post to cry about how microtransactions is killing Destiny. It's more about how to make them more appealing. While I am believer that loot boxes and microtransactions are good for the industry, but the problem that i see. They are implemented wrong and always end up leaving a bad taste in our mouths.
Bright Engram (loot boxes)
Leaving everything up to chance is an easy way to generate funds, but the problem is it's more RNG than chance. While Bungie did introduce “Dust” and gave us a chance to purchase Eververse items in game. The problem is all the good items are behind the paywall and when it come down to it, it's still up chance to get them.
Microtransactions
This option is more gamer friendly and doesn't leave it up to RNG. Although this might not generate funds as fast or even equal to Bright Engrams. The main thing, it give us gamers a choice to buy what we want.

Having a silver vendor that rotates weekly, builds hype each week. Although one thing that I notice needs a change is removing Bright Engrams from Eververse completely and only offering Microtransactions. Keeping Bright Engram as an item guardians receive when leveling pass 20.
As loot boxes continue to gain momentum on being a means to gambling in video games. Bungie need to show the fans a hand of good faith and offer a means to stand with them.
