Name: Ali Race: Tiefling Description: Humanoid, and not particularly tall, about 5’8”. Lean but muscular, weighing around 150 pounds. His skin is red, not really bright hot red, but not quite edgy dark red either, medium red. He has red hair, a true dark red, that he keeps decently long and kept back behind his hair. He doesn’t have any facial hair. His eyes are yellow, and he has two large horns that start on his forehead and curve back up his head about six inches. He typically wears a suit of banded armor, which means he’s got an armored breastplate with a blue stag emblem, armor on his shoulders, thighs, shins, upper arms, gauntlets, and boots, with tough leather underneath. It never rusts and glows faintly in the dark. Equipment: [spoiler]Magic Armor: No duh this armor is magic. It’s supernaturally tough, able to stand up to bullets and fireballs alike. It’s not invincible, but it’ll take more than one body shot to take him down. Hqyp: A flaming bastard sword. This blade is sharp and hot enough to cut through steel like a very large, very hot knife through really shiny butter. It also grants immunity to mind-effecting magic and Truesight (see abilities) [/spoiler] Abilities and Statistics: [spoiler]Strength: B, Speed: B, Agility: C, Durability: A, Magic Potential: D, Magic Resistance: A Demonic Heritage: Durablity and Magic Resistance are considered one rank higher against fire, and one rank lower against Holy/Divine effects. Diabolical Sorcery (C-Rank) Diabolical Sorcery is considered inherent magical abilities. Can be disabled by any normal anti-magic effect of C-Rank or higher. Is reduced by three ranks while in a hallowed area, such as a church or graveyard. Increases by one rank in Unholy areas. Can create a 20 ft area of absolute darkness, blocks magical darkvision, thermal vision, and normal vision, but not Devil’s Sight, Truesight, Sonar, or Electrosense. (C-Rank) Can create the magic equivalent of a campfire (D-Rank) Possesses inherent Devil’s Sight. (C-Rank) Can teleport in a puff of smoke and brimstone to a location he can see or has marked with a drop of his blood (C-Rank). Paladin Abilities (B-Rank) Paladinic Abilities are considered Divine Magic, and thus can only be dispelled by divine magic of equal rank, or normal magic of three ranks higher. Divine Magic increases by two ranks while in a Hallowed area, allowing access to spells beyond normal limits. Lay on Hands (B-Rank) Allows the healing of wounds at a touch. At a one minute cast time, cures diseases and poisons. At A-Rank, can be used at range. Smite (B-Rank) Channels divine energy into an attack, increasing damage. Can add elemental effects as needed. At A-Rank, can be used at range Rebuke (B-Rank) Rebukes undead, Fey, demons, etc, knocking them back and stunning them. At S-Rank, effects all non-good creatures, and deafens them. Blessing (B-Rank) Increases one parameter by one rank for 1 minute (ten rounds). At S-Rank. Effects all parameters at once. Truesight (A-Rank, Equipment granted) Allows perfect sight in all conditions, and sees through all illusions and invisibility. Divine Step (A-Rank) Allows instantaneous movement to a desired location. Personal Abilities (Rank N/A) Ali’s personal abilities are tied to his origin and element: Eden. With the exception of Paradise Lost, they can be activated regardless of magic nullification, as they are summoned directly from him. Fruit of Life: Drastically increases personal healing abilities to regenerative levels for 10 minutes. Requires one minute to eat. Only one can be produced a day. Fruit of Knowledge: Allows access to a single skill or language for 1 hour, or the answer to a single question, providing that the knowledge to answer it exists at the present time (for example, he could as “who is the murderer” and receive the answer, but could not ask “who is going to win the 2220 World Series”). Only one can be produced a day. Fruit of Death: If someone eats this fruit, they cannot heal, naturally or magically, or use magic of any type for one day. Only one can be produced a day. Paradise Lost: A reality marble that takes 30 seconds (Five posts) to activate, and creates a Hallowed pocket dimension that resembles a beautiful garden for 10 minutes (60 posts). Ali is a paladin, a heroic knight, fighting against evil wherever he finds it. You’d think that would mean that there’s a stick up his ass, but he’s actually a very laid back person, only really intervening when someone possess a threat to somebody else. Ali is a Tiefling, descended from Devils. You’d think that would make him an edge lord, but he’s quite a happy person, loving life and trying to enjoy it to the fullest. Ali is a dreamer, and you’d think that would make him slightly Naive, and you’d be very right. [/spoiler]
