So a couple of years ago I got an extra $500 on my Tax return...
And I am wonder if something like that is happening this year? Sadly, it was not placed back into service last year but I am not sure about this one. I have tried to look it up, but failed. Does anybody know if this is happening again?

Edited by A Good Troll: 1/15/2013 7:57:49 PMYou might be remembering to the Making Work Pay Credit for $400 per individual that was in place in 2010. Such a credit does not exist this year. However, you have been getting 2% off your Social Security taxes for all of 2011 and 2012. For most people, that works out to a larger break than Making Work Pay. That was your break. None of these programs exist in 2013.
