Its time we have this conversation despite the controversy
I'm sorry but Alakazam isn't even that good of a Pokemon.
Pyschic as a type has been plagued with uninteresting or just outright cringe inducing designs. Alakazam is no exception to this.

Alakazam was awesome during the first generation, not so much afterwards.
