So I'm curious...
If you were to have one major grievance with Destiny 2, or the franchise as a whole, what would you want Bungie and Activision to address?
Is it the lore?
Gameplay?
Multiplayer and Co-Op?
Releases and DLC?
Silver and Microtransactions?
I see a lot of complaints, but not any supporting reasons why people think Destiny 2 fails as a game. So why all the bitching with no real criticisms included?
What would you change, Guardians?
Also, rather than complaining, try real constructive criticism. Way back in year one of Vanilla Destiny, I wrote a post about how the factions were basically meaningless and how it would be cool to see faction-specific gear and shaders, and that those additions would make factions a valuable game component. Lo and behold, those suggestions came through. Food for thought.
I enjoy raiding. Not saying we need three raids at launch or anything, but this raid we have now is just a major shortcoming compared to what I know is actually capable of being produced. Do I want all the old raids to return? No. I do want something more than just some random hoop jumping and a glimpse of botany. I'd take vanilla D1 a hundred times over vanilla D2. Rng on every single aspect is just a shallow reason to play things over and over rather than making them actually rewarding. Yes, it's true that if we were able to just purchase what we want with our tokens rather than having rng determine it, most of us would literally have nothing to do but upping the amount needed from 20 to 50 and trading them in for something you actually want would actually entice me to play things more. Timers on nightfall strikes is another atrocity. I now just pick and choose when I run a nightfall. It's not that I mind the challenge, but rushing through and hitting a point where a new dialogue is started before the last one is finished does nothing for me. I don't even know why we are here doing the strike because I can't slow down and actually listen. Crucible is just boring and repetitive and half the time I'm stuck playing a game mode I dislike. Having weekly milestones net you the strongest loot possible is an outright oddity. If people aren't running the prestige content, there is no reason for anyone to be above power level 260 and that's just to get them into trials. Otherwise, 240 tops.
