Sure, but instead D2 ended up being completely gutted. It is alot more than a few things. PvP game mode choice. Seriously, that was a basic all the way in Vanilla D1. Just being able to choose the game mode you want to play. Please explain how removing that basic feature was caused by not enough time... This is just one example.
