As much as swords are a welcome edition to the game, I think there is more that can be done with them.
I here is a list of my ideas based on intrinsic perks for them, including the ones in-game
Adaptive Blade
- Balanced with an Elemental Upper Cut
Aggressive Blunt
- Heavy and Slow with an Elemental Slam Attack
Light Weight Hilt
- Light and Swift with a powerful dash attack
Precision Handle
- Balanced with a powerful ranged thrust attack with precision damage
High-Impact Guard
- Slow swings with a powerful knock back attack that staggers enemies
Rapid Strikes
- Light and Fast strike with a quick but short ranged precision attack
Came up also with some combo and special perks too that might be Exotic or Class Based
Adaptive Combo
- Short Melee and Shield Combo. Increased Defensive Value with shorter but quick melee attack. Blocking with R2 causes a bash attack
Dual Rapid Strikes
- Dual Wielding Light Weight swords with increased combo attacks (6 to 8 swings) Blocking will not affect mobility and while R2 do a quick dash with an area slash
Aggressive Boon
- Heavy but swift two handed staff with high efficiency. R2 causes a powerful slam attack. R2 while Blocking will buff near by allies and increase ability recharge and recovery
Devouring Blade
- Powered Weapon starts recovery and increases damage for each kill for a short time (Stacks of 3)
There were other perks that I thought of weren't sure of. I'm just spit balling ideas is all. Tell me what you think.

What they need to do is give us a weapon in the main ammo slot so you don't run out after only a few cuts.. I also still say the need for ammo to do a basic melee attack is idiotic, for the skills sure i can see that but not the basic attack..
