To me Osiris DLC has huge Lore potential.
I am hoping Bungie adds more stuff to hunt for players that will help explain the Lore. And maybe add some kind of In-game Codex for like the dead ghosts or something to hunt for that culminates in an exotic quest like Touch of Malice.
In terms of the character in the trailer. Osiris looks awesome and has potential to be a very interesting character, similar to how he was in the Lore of D1. They have built him up a lot, so I am actually hoping for a lot. Maybe I shouldn't hype this but I am excited. Hopeful that the character will be wise and kind but more in a kind of asshole way actually be impactful to the Destiny story. Not like Speaker was. The Speaker best stuff he did in life was how he trolled Gaul before he died. And noone was there to see it. Kind of sad actually. But I already own Limited edition so I get both DLCs.

Edited by Synge_X: 11/11/2017 8:27:49 PMAs far as the lore, it would be nice to see them add something similar to the calcified fragments, like hidden notes from Osiris’s diary. Contained in these writings would be content that both brings new players up to speed, and expands on previous lore from D1. As far as Story, they could do something extremely interesting... what if Bungie made it to where you initially make it to the lighthouse and it’s destroyed... by reading Osiris’s writings you are transported through time via vex mind gates that allow you to relive legendary missions of the past and change their outcome. Piece-by-piece, you are rebuilding the lighthouse in the present. Notable missions could involve saving Kabr and his fireteam in the Vault of Glass etc. This would make for cool story content, unique gameplay, and an excellent plot device.
