I just watched a video about the veteran voicelines in Destiny 2 which you can gain through completing achievements and raids in Destiny 1. My main point of confusion is about the deadline. I've heard that if you want to get emblems, you should create a character and complete it before August 1st. I am still unclear about whether you can transfer a D1 character made after August 1st and play Destiny 2 with that character. If I were to create a character after August 1st, could I at least still get the voicelines for the character?
