I have no doubt that D2 will improve over time, just as D1 did. It’s just unfortunate that we got another game that launched in an obviously unfinished state that we’ll have to pay another $80 to get the rest of. Actually, no, it was unfortunate the first time. Now it’s scummy business practice. And the worst part is, I don’t think it’s really Bungie’s fault. Before Destiny, they had a reputation for releasing games to a certain standard of quality, even if that meant delays. It’s likely Activision who pressures them to push out the minimum viable product on a strict release schedule, knowing that us gamers will pay what ever it takes to see a promising franchise live up to its potential.
