Which is mostly a problem in PvE. Being hit with splash damage causes both your screen to shake too much and your aim to be deflected too much. I was doing a public event earlier and there were two minotaurs firing at me, not even hitting me but hitting the ground next to me, and when I tried to use Golden Gun to take out them and the harpy next to them I physically could not compensate for the flinch, it was so strong. It's difficult to explain this, and even the actual video clip doesn't fully show what happened, without you being able to feel it for yourself. The first shot hit the harpy, but the ensuing blasts from the minotaurs started to drag my aim left, and though I had my thumbstick tilted fully to the right in an attempt to compensate, I could not get my reticle back on target and three more shots ended up going into empty air. I don't mean I just had a hard time aiming again. I mean the aim deflection was stronger than a fully tilted thumbstick at 6 sensitivity. That's ridiculous.
I personally believe that flinch is way too strong in this game in general, but there's no need for this kind of effect to be in PvE. Please just tone down the flinch from splash damage.
