I've been with Bungie and Destiny for too long to give up hope, I've been there through the hard times and the good time (that's right, time, cause there was only one, Age of Triumph, best time of Destiny) .
Before anyone says that it's people like me, who's fault it is that D2 is like this, can you honestly say Destiny 1 didn't get better with time? Can you honestly say they didn't make improvements with their content? Can you honestly say you preferred D1 year 1 to D1 year 3, or hell even Year 2?
-
To be fair, I'm liking the game. I don't want to upset anyone, but I'm having a blast with it. So there is no need for hope because I am satisfied. I am curious as to what the future for D2 will bring though.
-
Bungie had three years and this is what they serve us and then they promise us fixes in the near future, they learned nothing expect how to improve micro transactions, look at Cal of Duty WW2 nasty way of doing micro transactions, that's Destiny's future
-
I hope they learn
-
I hope it fails

If you have hope your stupid...we waited for years for d2 and we got this...it's pathetic so get used to it.

Edited by Terraain: 11/8/2017 9:34:49 PMI want to replay any story missions and be able to play the strike a want to play with the strike symbol on that destination. Also what happened to the grimoire? I miss being able to see the enemies I have slain and read about them. And ghost hunting was fun. Wait... where is my shotgun and rocket launcher?!

I had far more fun with Vanilla Destiny 1 at launch than I did with Destiny 2. The game is in worse shape today than it was years ago. Less than a month after Destiny 2 came out, I had run out of fun things to do and I can't even bring myself to log on Tuesdays because there's no reason to. I uninstalled the game and am moving on. There's too many better games out there and too little time to spend playing something as unrewarding and shallow as Destiny 2.

Edited by Project Zero: 11/8/2017 8:17:42 AMYou know the game is really fucking bad whene the only thing you have left is "hope"!!!
-
Nope. Base game is too limited to fix. They need to scrap D2 and move on to D3 with D1Y3 as the model.
-
Down voted.
-
So gullible or naive? Can't tell but this game at a fundamental level is garbage. Will they sort it? Hell no... Small updates hid behind dlc paywalls will be the best you can hope for.
-
Waiting for the DLC before saying anything.
-
Here's to hoping the Tower doesn't get destroyed again, take all our gear again, allow us to re grind for MIDA again, then forget about all the improvements by D2Y3.
-
Edited by Anointedone: 11/8/2017 10:49:34 PMI still have hope. A few things I would like to see is the ability to choose PvP game type, give us back random weapon rolls, and give us back raid gear/weapons with raid specific bonuses. Oh, and give us back challenging raid specific exotics.
-
Irony- one of the best guns in the game is named Last Hope and it will soon be nerfed.
-
The game can be fixed. It's not broke. Lot of good ideas out there. Ps. I wish dinkle could come back
-
I agree 100%.
-
I'm hoping the dlc and updates fix things, I've been playing CoD WW2 instead and Activision have -blam!-ed that up completely too.
-
I'm enjoying a free game more (fortnite) than I'm enjoying a game I paid $60 for... I got on today trying to play it but I just can't. It's boring.. it's sad to say.
-
Looking forward to the DLC.
-
I thought the same thing about ex.
-
I'm holding onto the idea that in D1 when it was released the game was so good that inevitably when the dark below was released it was destined to be worse, so I'm hoping that they are holding a hell of a lot of content back so that the next DLC has no option but to be better. Let's face it, can't be any worse.... can it 🤔
-
Warframe new DLC looks awesome
-
To fix D2, it needs to rebuilt from the ground up. It's doomed. D1 WAYYYYYY better gameplay.

In other words, "Can you honestly say that Bungie has not already learned all of these hard lessons once before? Can you honestly say that they didn't spend the last 3 years figuring out how to create the game that they promised originally?" Even though you don't believe it, you are actually "one of those guys", because you seem to be almost okay with giving Bungie another few years to navigate the learning curve to get the game that you expected, even though Bungie already knew how to make the game we all expected, but just decided not to. Destiny at release was better than D2, if for only two reasons...a really fun and well designed raid, and the fact that it was a new novelty the first time around. The novelty helped to distract us somewhat from the other flaws initially. That is why the backlash was so strong and swift with D2. We have all seen this song and dance before.
