Discord Voice Issue when in Destiny 2
When I am on Discord there is no problem until I open up Destiny 2 as well. After that my friends say my voice fluctuates high and low back and forth and they cant understand what I am saying. I have tried many different settings adjustments in Discord to no success. I know it isnt my mic because I have tried multiple headsets and so I don't know hw to fix it. I know Discord isn't supported by D2, but I didn't think it would affect how discord ran. Does anyone know of anything I can do to fix this issue I'm having?

5 RepliesBandwidth. Destiny uses an insane amount of upload in everything except single player components. Factor at least 5kbps per player in the same zone as you (3 in orbit, etc.). It's most likely your connection and you running out of upload. The other likely option is CPU throttling impacting Discord.
