Hello.
I already asked this but I didn't really get an actual answer but now that the PC port is out, I want to try my luck again.
So, I have a physical disability and with PC shooter games such as Destiny I utilize a rapid fire feature of my mouse software(Logitech Gaming Software) or the Steam controllers' turbo mode(another word for rapid fire) in order to use weapons such as scout rifles, hand cannons and other semi-auto weapon as using them are either really painful when playing for hours or impossible for people with worse conditions than mine. Some people rely entirely on such features and I imagine that the Able Gamer foundation use it for people with severe disabilities or handicaps use often.
I use them only in singleplayer games or coop games without any competetive element to it like the Borderlands series. But Borderlands has guns in them that has the ability to fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. Meaning you can fire a scout rifles' entire 30 round mag in less than a second if you choose to set it that fast. Which can be considered cheating. Especially in games like Destiny. However, Destiny has a limitation on every gun as far as I know on how fast you can fire each round which makes the point completely moot in my opinion. You can easily fire it at max speed by just clicking your mouse as fast as you can so I feel like it shouldn't be an issue.
But my opinion doesn't really matter. What does matter is what Bungie decides is cheating or not. So I hope that a Bungie rep can see this post and give an answer to this before I use it and possibly get banned. If anyone can either tell me if Bungie has answered this, tell me how to contact them or forward this to a Bungie representative, it would be greatly appreciated!
