No. You can do them solo they're easy. The problem was people playing together didn't share rewards of destroying the caches. It's because people were on separate factions so the rewards weren't shared. It ruins the whole point of having a fire team during "patrols". It doesn't ruin my solo play at all, but when I have a buddy in a fire team it doesn't ruin that either, it's not a bad thing.
