You know how stupid you sound after reading that back right ? 🙄
I sound stupid because I enjoy playing online videogames with other people rather than by myself? No,the stupid people are the ones who play online videogames solo, ruining it for the ones who want to play with other people.
If you want to play solo, play a single player game
👀look not everyone wants to hold hands while playing online. That is exactly how the old faction token reward system functioned. The new system still allows solo people to play solo AND allows people to play in a group without 2/3 not obtaining tokens. Tje only negative impact i see on solo players is nnow theu wont be abnle to just run past enemies, destroy supplies, run out, and then back in to do it all over again amassing crazy amounts of tokens in a boring, mind numbing manner. The funny thing about this is alot of the same people complaining about this change complain about how boring the game is, but then go on to willingly to boring things because it is the easiest way to get rewards while putting in the least amount of effort. I myself play solo about 90% of the time outside of the raid, but do occassionaly group up with my wife and a friend. During the faction rally I had the choice of playing with my wife and friend receiving 1/3 the tokens or playing solo to get full rewards. To be honest, the new system actually benefits both. Now instead of running through enemies, looking for random soaen locations for supplies, and stopping to shoot supplies. You run past the enemies, kill 1 enemy, collect rewards. Before I complain about a change I actually think about how the change effects me as a solo player and a team player. Personally, I can run past enemies and kill a target to unlock a chest alot faster than I could hunt down supplies to destroy. Even though I can speed past enemies to get they chest faster, I choose not to, there is alot of xp to be earned towards bright engrams off of easy to kill enemies on the way and takes me at the most a minute longer to kill the enemies in my direct path to my target. So instead of 2 minutes to get just the chest reward, I'm taking 3 minutes (4 if I'm screwing off) and getting 1-2k xp and a chest reward.

How exactly does others playing solo ruin a game for you?

Online games have a variety of content. As I stated before. What stupid is is assuming everyone is like you. I play FFXIV. I enjoy the solo part of that game as much as the group content. I log on there and craft. I sell my goods for money. Thats what the MMO means to me. Not forced grouping.

Im ok with that. I enjoy group content. Lost sectors is a great way to fill time while your waiting for a world quest to start.
