When I first tried farming with someone else before I realised it was only the person who shot the crate, it was two us doing it and to be honest running up and down stairs and corridors with the other person holding you up or getting in each others way was a pain in the arse and we ended up doing our own lost sector anyway. I'm not too bothered I will still do it on my own and just pick a sector with the least amount of enemies and go for the boss with a sword. Mind you I just probably won't bother doing it anyway.
