There's nothing more to accomplish.

1 ReplyWe have so many things we could do. We could go to Mars. We could colonize it. We could send astronauts to the far reaches of the galaxy. We could find a cure for cancer, and drastically increase human life span. We could find a way to sustainably improve quality of life in 3rd world countries. We could gain control over our planet, preventing deadly natural disasters from hitting ever again. We could advance medicine to a state far superior to the one it is in now. Paralysis could be a thing of the past. Cognitive disorders could be a thing of the past. Deadly birth defects could be a thing of the past. We could progress in art, literature, and film, exploring deeper and deeper into the human mind, bounded no longer by technology or money, but simply by the human imagination. We could do so many things. [i]Cor Unum, Via Una.[/i] But there's only one thing we will do. Self-annihilation.
