I don't care how they said it. Fact is that it needed to change. Here's what happened
"Waaaaa there's nothing to do because I got 30 packages"
They remove a way to farm 600 tokens per hour
"Waaaa too much grind"
These forums are annoying. I check in to hopefully see some positivity but I guess it's too much to ask for these days.

I'd usually agree here. But why are they limiting us in the first place? And if the engram gives a 95% of a weapon why should we farm harder than we have to? You are what's wrong with the community here

Where you see something as limiting, other people see it as a bit of freedom. If you cannot grasp this, [i]you[/i] are more likely to be the type of person that is wrong with this community. Personally, I prefer doing the milestones with my husband, but completing our milestones together last rally took twice as long because we had to split the enemy supplies. Bungie aims this game towards teamplay, not solo, so this went directly against their philosophy. They knew they couldn't make both sides happy, so they made the choice that best aligned with their goals, and chose to accept that they would have to deal with the fallout of the token farmers. TL;DR - Ya just can't please everybody.

I don't remember any posts about it not being fireteam-friendly making it to trending (admittedly, I'm too lazy to try and back that up) to warrant them blaming any community discussion of the subject. However, I'm pretty sure the YouTube farming guides and their game data was enough to tell them that people found it more efficient to do it solo, which is not what they intended to promote. My comment, however, was specifically directed to the fact that they are not limiting their playerbase as a whole. They are limiting one set of players while giving another set (their target audience) better options. [spoiler]Sidenote: Sheep loses its impact as an insult when the person grows up with a last name of Lamb. Better luck to you in your next internet battle.[/spoiler]

You're part of the problem. If anything, they [i]removed[/i] an element of force. Previous conditions forced fireteams to split up or to take 2-3 times as long. Now, both solo players and fireteams have equal footing. I am nobody's line of defense (except the Last City's, of course) or blind follower. I play the game the way I prefer to play - in a fireteam, not farming but just doing stuff because I want to. You, on the other hand, seem to be on a bandwagon dedicated to vitriolic hate. Bungie flopped big time, but not everything is a complete and utter failure to everyone. Try looking past your nose and see things from other people's perspectives. It goes a long ways in life. Have a good one!

And furthermore the thing we're even talking about is the mere fact NO ONE grouped up to do lost sectors together at all, even before the game. And they're taking away something solo players used to get the limited numbers of engram in a day since all they'll get is just duplicates, and no armor. There's no point to it, so why take away an easy way to get it done if it doesn't matter? You seem to be missing everything we say, so thanks for playing the beta and buying the season pass, you now have the right to white knight for no reward

I played the beta from a friend's extra code and I definitely haven't bought a season pass or even just DLC 1, but kudos to you for being a presumptuous know-it-all who apparently has short term memory loss as I clearly stated that my husband and I do lost sectors together while participating in other world activities. Not everybody plays solo and only "teams up" when they have to. Some of us actually prefer playing with friends, but I suppose that's a concept that trolls like yourself aren't too familiar with. So, how about we just agree to disagree? You can stay in your gloomy, angry little world, and I'll try to stick to the middle ground of both reasonable complaints and rational understanding. :) Or, you can go on laughing at me. I'll laugh at me for providing you such lousy amusement. And then I'll laugh even more at you for even being entertained, and the Bungie forums will go on being as scummy as ever. Alas, I have more entertaining things to do like sleeping, so this is where my comments end, but please, feel free to continue talking to yourself if it makes you feel better. No I'm definitely not the problem here. Scroll through the trending posts. 90% of that is the problem. I'm looking to the future in season 2 when we can use legendary shards and glimmer for some gear in addition to tokens. It will be easy enough to acquire everything. Sorry If I don't mind a little grind, everything is handed to you in this game, it's too easy to collect everything.

There is no future of destiny 2. Its just milking you giys for your worth. Which is money by the way. Idk about you, but when I see a developer basically shit all over the community on a weekly basis and disrespect everyone? The people who swallow that instead of leaving are the problem in general. Enjoy the grind -blam!-boy, and enjoy having your wallet milked for past content that already exists.

Why do people on here tend to just insult instead of have a conversation? There are major problems no doubt but it's not the end of the world. I got my moneys worth, I'm not getting milked by a monthly fee or anything. Season updates don't cost me anything extra.

Welcome to the internet where anyone can finally act like a "tough guy" because there is no fear of getting checked by the person you are talking to for being disrespectful. Sadly this attitude seems to be very popular on these forums I don't know if that is because there is a massive difference in the child to adult ratio or what.
