Bungie lie's about everything they do and don't do.
Destiny 2 is pretty worthless at this point because of bungie.
What exactly is the purpose of playing anymore?
No activities are fun or rewarding.
There is no way to make your guardian special in the slightest, so forget about making the legendary. That was just misunderstood marketing humor.
It's not really even a real shooter anymore.
It's not even a very good social game anymore because they took the fun out of everything.
It's not innovative in the slightest.
It lacks any real creativity for a new game.
and its seems like a dumbed down and meaningless version of D1.
Salty? Heck yea I am salty. They took a game I loved to one I despise with a passion at this point.
What really ruffles my feathers is the lie's.
All over every forum on the net is tons of complaints about how lame and useless the rewards system is in this game. How useless some activities are and how boring it has become of the simplified mechanics. Yet Bungie says it may take some time to make changes. Yet when someone uses an emote to backwalk thru a wall. They can get that fixed in 2 weeks as a priority. Or if a player finds a farming method, lets change the entire reward system for that activity.
I think Bungie is trying to kill this game with every update and decision they make.
Without my friends, this game is a heaping pile of mindless, stinky shite. and my friends are almost all gone. Nobody but noobs want to play this game anymore and even the noobs leave really quick.
Most new players only play for a week or 2 and are gone for good. They are not coming back.

I came on went to xur, helped a guy with the PE at xur and went back to the tower. Done. Bought titan and hunter gear from xur just in case one day I wish to make the toons. Took all of five minutes. The others for this week were to get my three easy bright engrams, considering it now takes almost 250,000 points for me to roll a bright engram. Did you see any crucible, raids, nightfall? visits to Nessus, IO or anywhere else? Nope. and except for coming on to help someone out, No I do not play. I come on for bright engram, xur, and to help people out. Thats it. Which is what I was saying. Haveing friends who need help is the fun part for me. But friends are all vanishing and not coming back. because the game is not fun.

And? You claim to hate D2. You claim to be bored with D2. You claim to not have fun in D2. Why do you play? . You're not that into crucible. 76 matches, haven't done trials. I can … see why. I'm guessing you just do matches for milestones. . However, PvE though… level 88 in the EDZ and level 34 on Nessus. 10 FULL DAYS in just PvE activities. You've played 15 hours just in PvE activities in the last ten days, including a nightfall. . Overall, you have a max level character and are level 151 w/ the gunsmith. . So why? You hate it but yet love it enough to play. You are bored but yet interested enough to play. You don't have fun but enjoy enough to play. . Why? If you truly aren't enjoying yourself why do you play? There are flaws with this game, but if they are as important to you as you make them, why do you do this to yourself?

Your point doesn’t mean the game is still loading it’s luster... ppl are wanting to love the game and try to play but it’s running on fumes is all. They have a right to voice their opinion just like you. So let them and move on.

I was on for 5minutes today to get the exotics from Xur and the three availiable clan engrams. Same on Monday. I still haven‘t played the game for two weeks now. Or would you disagree?

Except for walking around and killing mindless ads, this requires no talent, skill or even a slight learning curve. My best friend's five year old son has been able to get a 305 Titan in just three weeks running around shooting everything in sight in the EDZ. Only time his dad helps him is when he gets new gear. He ask his dad what to do with it. Most shooters have a system of goals, achievements, ranking, skill, and a reward system. Even a bit of a punishment system for being that guy that die's all the time. Destiny has none of that. You can be the worst player on the planet or the best and there is no way to differentiate the two. Only thing you can really tell with this game is who have been loyal to the franchise and those who just played for a while and left. But to be fair, Lots of shooters, especially from Activision seem to be going down this path. They set gameplay down to the basic minimum skill level so nobody will feel left out.

I think his point in saying it isn't a real shooter anymore is that everything in the game except bosses die faster to melee than they do to gunfire, combine that with the fact that there is literally nothing difficult about this game aside from getting 6 people on the same page. If you can complete the entire campaign, meleeing every non boss enemy (and even some of them chumps) to death with fewer than 5 deaths through the whole thing, something is seriously wrong. When playing the campaign I felt like I was playing Halo CE on easy for that shield mark on the levels again. Enemies devastated by punches, standing on your grenades and looking at you while you slow walked up to them and punched the entire army down. It was an Interactive Movie, not a game, and it was quite boring.
