Because you're only allowed 2 a day, than a cooldown is put in place. With that said, you'll only visit it twice and move on to the next sector. So if you have looted all the lost sectors for the day, you're now stuck doing public events. Strikes and The Crucible are not efficient.

wait what about this cool down thing, i was never big on doing the same lost sector more then once in a row, what is this cool down you speak of. Is it related to the wordly chest cool down. i didnt know there was a cool down on lost sectors.

It's different, you won't be able to loot the same lost sector chest no more then 2 times. Then you have to wait for the cooldown. The global loot cooldown is for planetary resources and planetary token chest. During the 1st rally, a player can destroy a single crate and get 2-3 tokens. Leave the lost sector by zoning out and then go back and shoot the crates again. A player can easily obtain 300+ tokens in less then an hour.

I know about the planetary cool down but i didn't know there was a lost sector cool down, that sucks bungie balls. whos idea was it to remove the ability to far matirials in lost sectors. i wana kick them in their bungie balls
