Spot on
-
Well they’re not entirely nerfed, they’ve dropped the amount that can come from lost sectors but boosted the drops from others...
-
And they dropped the number from public events
-
True, but also boosted everywhere else... Plus lost sectors will offer like 3 or something per chest opening but you can basically complete most in about 5 mins and bounce around the map doing them. so it’s still and easy farm and it also means that everyone in your fireteam gets them rather than just the person who destroys each thing as it was last time.

Omg, one day you'll kill me with all these hard truths throwing at me^^ Jk. Truths to be told.

I've noticed there are a tonne of mechanics that I believe are implemented specifically to waste your time. For example, the arms dealer strike. Two completely useless ghost required doors that you have to open. There aren't even any enemies that you have to defend it from. I could list more but I'm not going to. Just something I've noticed.

It's padded time imo. Strikes are longer. Something players asked for, more so in the sense of more challenges and raid like encounters, but bullet sponge bosses and enemies add more time and are synonyms to the former in bungie's case. They would rather have people spend 20-30 mins trudging through a strike over players having fun and spending 7 mins in a strike. "What if they get bored after 3 strikes? Well (3)30 min strikes is more time then (3)7 min strikes. That means we can skew the average play time number. It'll look better to the investors."

Exactly. And they scrapped heroics, wgich were actually fun.
