Just reading the update news and noticed this... "We noticed that players felt Lost Sectors were useful, but disliked the fact that they couldn’t enjoy them with a fireteam, so we moved the faction tokens from the destructible items to the chest at the end of the activity. The destructibles will still be featured as a daily milestone and are still available to help your fireteam clear out the Lost Sector."

This is a sad ass lie period. They didn't like the fact that during the last faction rally, people simply destroyed the items for tokens and farmed to the max number of packages without having to mind numbingly complete the useless sectors every time.
If they wanna make this change to try and keep people playing longer, that's what should be said, not this sad ass lie about wanting to do sectors with a fireteam. Like whose ass did they even pull that out of. Not even a good lie for christs sake. smh. I'm sure I'm like many people who wont even bother to touch this faction crap after the first one anyway but damn Bungie, grow some -blam!-ing balls and tell the truth...
-
Not bringing any weapons forward is the biggest lie they have told. After seeing old exotics being brought back for the next dlc is the time I decided that I’m done with this game.Got the legendary edition so have to play the next two dlc’s,then that’s me out of here
-
Not a lie... just a bad game.
-
Out of all the thinga to criticise bungie for, you took the stupidest thing to complain about, you pedantic fool.
-
I never used a fire team and get home late. This is BS. I play as all 3 characters, Bungie. Don't do this crap. It's a lie. I would still farm the chest at the end until it turned into NOTHING due to the loot cooldown. Wtf, guys. Wanna piss off veteran players? Because this is how you piss off veteran players.
-
bungie is rolling the red carpet to Anthem and Monster hunter world
-
So they want me to do public activites in patrol with friends but wont raise the cap from 3? Hol up
-
Edited by Aqua: 11/4/2017 2:13:41 AMLol kid are you sad you can't farm anymore? Having to actually work for tokens must be really hard for you. Bungo didn't lie. You couldn't do lost sectors with fireteam members during the last faction rally
-
Actually destroying the caches for tokens in a fireteam, only the person that destroyed the cache got the token. Kinda sucked running lost sectors with a fireteam and having to take turns destroying the caches. At least this way the entire fireteam gets tokens
-
I’m pretty sure this was for the faction stuff. Correct me if I’m wrong but when you destroyed stuff you and your party couldn’t share the tokens as a team. this happened to me and the wife when we played together and thought it was a bummer that we had to do twice the work for tokens so I was pretty glad when they came out with this update.
-
A bit like the time the nerfed Touch of Malice/Ward of Dawn because 'too many people were using it in the crucible'. Check how many hours I played D1.....must have saw it used 2-3 times in the crucible! Just bared faced lies and they know it!
-
Edited by Willie Killigan: 11/3/2017 4:33:39 PMIt’s definitely the truth, as usual with most truths it’s not what you want to hear. Me and my clan had to solo them in order to get tokens, was a bit annoying so unless it was a daily bounty we skipped them all together. Now if they could have said; “We changed Lost Sectors because you idiots can’t game with out exploiting shit.” I can promise you some salty snowflake would be upset about that truth as well.

You know what would fix this entire conversation. A smart loot system 😒

Die in one spot and do it mind numbingly for hours. Now you can finish the activity with other people in about the same amount of time but not look cave it. Because nothing what so ever was fun about running the same loop 100 by yourself because you could do it with others.

I don't care how they said it. Fact is that it needed to change. Here's what happened "Waaaaa there's nothing to do because I got 30 packages" They remove a way to farm 600 tokens per hour "Waaaa too much grind" These forums are annoying. I check in to hopefully see some positivity but I guess it's too much to ask for these days.

Edited by Combo164: 11/4/2017 1:42:33 AMAnd so it begins. Extending the longetivity of the game with low drop rates for tokens. First i had to fight rng for the gear i wanted once i got enough tokens, and now i have to fight rng and low token numbers. Fun
-
Thanks for clearing up why the change is messed up. Reddit, and other players here aren't as detailed(I missed the last rally) in explaining what was wrong with this change. Let me get this straight so instead of rewarding a fireteam with tokens for destroying enemies resources together, they remove the tokens from the resources and put three tokens in the treasure chests instead? Meaning less tokens? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Solid post. How does it have hate?
-
Truth!
-
I agree with the OP.
-
Someone saving their ass pretty much.
-
you didn't even need to pull the full quote, the pathetic lie is in the first part of the first sentence, "We noticed that players felt Lost Sectors were useful," who the -blam!- thinks lost sectors are useful? but yeah people farmed them for tokens so sure they were useful for that, but otherwise they are pointless and a misnomer, lost sectors aren't exactly lost when they are marked on your map. smh
-
Honestly why even play this stupid lame game? Bunghole is trying to force the way you play you will have no choice soon enough. Soon it will be a video game on rails. There are so many better games out there just stop playing like the rest of us have. I give zero -blam!-s about this game
-
lol @ the internet and "lies."
wipe.
-
Really fishing with this one. I have no problems with this. I for one shared that bit of feedback... Regardless, removing a shortcut like that is a Good Thing.
-
Wow a business didn't tell the absolute truth? Omg! I didn't even know they could do that. Isn't it weird how every cell phone company markets their network speed as the fastest? Every car insurance can save you money from your current provider somehow? Red bull gives you wings? Bp is super sorry for spilling all that oil. It's harder to find a company that is honest. I'm not going to yell at bungie for doing something they all do while it's perfectly legal due to loopholes around tricking customers.
-
Edited by SackOfWine: 11/3/2017 4:58:18 PMWe all should be used to this by now to be honest. They completely miss the entire point of what we tried to get across to them. All they had to do was allow us to break destructible items and reward the whole fireteam and that would have solved it. Somehow they interpreted that as we want to prolong the farm for the reskinned rewards so make us do the whole sector for less rewards please. No thank you I'll be skipping this crap event, nice try bungie may have fallen for the purchase but not participating in your lies.
