Let's keep this as the civil go-to place for Devs to address underlying gameplay aspects that are needlessly irksome, and suggestions for fun additions to the post-game.
1. Allow players to dismantle whole stacks of a shader or multiple unwanted ones. Perhaps incorporating L3 press as a "select all" for dismantle.
2. Better Vault Inventory organization. Weapons, Armor and Consumables should be separated. Separate weapons by kinetic, energy and power types (maybe further by weapon type: auto, pulse, hand cannon, rocket launcher, and etc.).
3. Allow players to set the ping latency for all matchmaking (e.g. 50, 100, 150, and etc.). This will ensure players are more likely to find a fireteam or match against opponents in the same region; and would help eliminate laggy players from tainting the Crucible.
4. Lock Guided Games to a preferred Language.
5. Reinstate the Shader Vendor. Uncommon and Rare Shaders will cost glimmer. Legendary Shaders will cost legendary shards.
- Add Exotic shaders to Tess's RNG pool. These shaders can be weapon, armor, ship, ghost, or sparrow specific and will add special effects to the item it's attached to (e.g. ships can do barrel rolls and tricks while loading in, sparrow can have color shifting iridescence, weapon can have special precision kill animation, armor can have particle effects, and etc.).
6. Bring back heroic strikes.
7. Have Ikora Rey's meditations offer better rewards. This is a post-game activity that does not offer powerful luminous engrams.
8. Have Cayde's Stashes cost legendary shards and heavily weigh the loot drops toward legendary/exotic gear the player does not have nor had owned. His stashes are locked to one account and the glimmer cost does not offset an empty chest opened.
-
(more to the list that's annoying on the PC version) 1. Having the list of challenges not disappear while holding your Ghost due to Item / Glimmer pickups. 2. Make the roster for players, friends and clan members visible on the character screen instead of having to go to destinations -> roster. 3. Have a timer for finding a new player after a pre-made member of your fireteam drops out instead of instantly finding someone else, locking your friend(s) out from completing the strikes with you (in hopes of giving the dropped player time to reconnect). Alternatively add a vote or function to the ghost for whether a new random player should be put in.
