30 RepliesAgreed, this game sucks. It’s Luke’s fault that it sucks. Bungie should fire the person that lost millions of dollars for their company. “But Qeylis, D2 sold well”. It sure did, random voice in my head. But if it was a good game, it would have sold much better. This is the age of social media. No one listens to critics anymore. We listen to our friends. Even if most of our friends say the game is good (unlikely), the ones that say it’s bad will be much louder (and probably more numerous). Would you buy a game that your friends told you was trash? I didn’t think so. But if they say “Its great! Buy it! I’ll take you on the Raid!”, are you more likely to buy it then? Yes, yes you are! This effect is almost completely missing from Destiny 2. The negative friends are much louder and numerous. So, even though Luke made money for Bungie, he lost millions that he could have made. If I were his boss, he’d be gone, and I’d be hoping the board doesn’t fire me for hiring an idiot like that.
