Destiny2 Crashed to Desktop
Please let me know what I can do to resolve this. During all the crashes, music was on until when it went to desktop.
Below happened in chronological order:
1. Created toon
2. Played through intro, first mission.
3. Got to the farm
4. Was able to get into Trostland and did a few missions with Dervim(until he doesn't give any more missions).
5. Did the Mission when I helped Hawthrone guide people to safety setup some beacons and destroyed jaming devices. Also went across the bridge and defeated a bunch of enemy.
6. Went all the way back to Dervim's building hold E to start the Red War.
7. Screen went blank, game crashes to desktop. No errors displayed.
8. Restarted game, clicked on Trostedland, clicked launch.
9. Screen went blank, game crashes to desktop. No errors displayed.
10. Restarted game, played another toon half way in the intro just to make sure scenes will load. Then quit new toon, went to old toon attempted to launch Trostedland. Blank, crashed to desktop.
11. Restarted PC, logged in, click on launch for Trostedland, blank, crashed to desktop.
12. Went to dinner (2~3 hours gap), came back and tried again for Trostland so I can advance to Red war. Screen went blank, then (as always) after about 20 seconds, crashed to desktop.
12. Restarted PC, logged in, played Crucible, got reward, went to farm, claimed reward, try to launch Trostedland, blank, crashed to desktop.
13. Danced around a fire
14. Restarted PC, restarted game, tweaked some settings(one at a time, after crash set it back). none worked. Blank, crashed to desktop.
15. Restarted Game set video setting to lowest possible. Blank, crashed to desktop when I tried to launch Trostland so I can start Red War.
16. Came and posted this.
P.S. Although most of the crashes resulted in blank, with no errors. I was able to get an error once. "Contacting Servers". This is the PC release on OCT 24th and I am playing on Windows 7 with Bliz Battle.net launcher. Also it is strange how I was able to play the first part of Trostland and complete all the missions from Devim.
