MIDA Mini Tool did not drop after complete questline

Did not receive the MIDA mini tool did not drop for me after completing the questline with open inventory space. The quest no longer pops up so I can confirm that I do not have to complete it still. Please help.

same thing happened to me at first, but I went to orbit and went back and it was there.
