So far I'm loving the release of Destiny 2. Every detail, big and small, was well thought and perfectly executed. From weapon mods to raid mechanics, Bungie has really gone all out to deliver the best possible experience. As you know, there are new features up for release in Season 2, like new ships and shaders. But, one thing I hope to see in this open world MMO is more focus on shader design. While we all love the new dynamic of shaders in D2, theyre all either colored brightly, or dim and faded. I hope to see some shaders that throwback to the styles of D1, with mixtures of dark colors and bright highlights. For example, my own personal request is a shader with black primary and bright red detailing to complete the mix. I know it's basically just SIVA's color scheme from D1, but you can't go wrong with that black and shining red combo. I do want to congratulate Bungie and their massive success with Destiny 2 and can't wait to see what they have in store for us.

Play around with your shaders. Putting black ones on some armor pieces and bright red ones on others might give you that look youre going for.

Edited by LordOfSouls95: 7/2/2023 8:37:29 AMYou seriously think weapon mods are perfect? They're almost worthless except for changing damage type! Although I do agree we need more shaders, a lot are either too bland or too over the top.

I'd like a black and dark gray shader with a vibrant green highlight.

Hey man I agree with you! Check out the one that is for sale fro Eververse right now! I forget what it is called but it is gorgeous. Very dark with a texture and bright silver highlights.

The New Monarchy ones have some good shiny red and black mixed with gold or silver. Maroon Moon from Nessus engrams/chests is a nice but muted red/black combo. Metro Shift is on sale at Eververse atm. Nice dark blue and black. Experiment with armor pieces too. Some have more of one colour than the other. Might be able to rig a mostly Black and Red New Monarchy set with the right pieces. :)

Veist shaders and cerulean divide shader are what you are looking for. Black and green. And black and blue.
