this was originally a thread about PC users getting banned for no reason at launch, just like they did in the beta; i made a post back then to say that people were getting banned unfairly with the new anti-cheat system, i was told i was wrong - - cozmo has returned to re-affirm he stands in the same place as before
this thread is now being used to advocate a bungie response to much bigger problems, with much more support; i feel cozmo only replied to this thread because it was personal to him; old post in question :

IMPORTANT UPDATE
The quote of "only 400 banned" is a number used for PERMA BANS. Thousands of other guardians are still getting banned, but temporarily. Maybe for an hour or two at longest. That is still an issue. That is still wrong. Just because "only 400" have been banned forever, does not wash your hands of the thousands being banned temporarily for doing nothing wrong.

Edited by SirBagsAlot-_-: 10/26/2017 1:12:24 PMWhat’s funny is that Bungie actually released that update article And guess what, towards the end it CLEARLY states that of the 400 banned, they had to go and REVERSE bans that were INCORRECTLY given out to a “group of players” Links is here https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/46426 Go towards to the bottom and see the updated section to see where they said they unbanned people who were UNFAIRLY banned So you were right dude, and Cosmo you were straight up proven wrong by YOUR own article. Bans SHOULD NOT be permanent without a thorough investigation and description to the player in question because clearly your current system is FLAWED.
