The links provided by OP and the links provided by Cozmo. Or any evidence, is there vids of people playing live and just being banned for no reason like OP claims? Or can Cozmo provide something that shows without a doubt they cheated? Don't just blindly believe one or the other is all im saying.

Ok, I'm missing something here.. checked the other thread for the OP's posts and saw no links or evidence whatsoever. Just him being a jackass several times, with other jackasses jumping on his bandwagon. The more of his posts I read, the more he looks like an obnoxious instigator whose only goal here is to perpetuate hate on these forums. It's no wonder you rarely see direct responses from anyone associated with Bungie to the community - it's just not worth it.

I will agree 100% that some posts are just idiocy incarnate but Cozmo and Deej or anyone for that matter dont even respond to very well spoken posts that are polite and with very solid points. In my 2 years here I've only seen them comment to prove someone wrong or comment on a usless fluff piece irrelevant to anything and everything. Over the last month I've seen a few very popular very polite posts get no response whatsoever but i did see cozmo comment on how many times the architects kill you. I'mnot having a go at the bloke gor being friendly cause it's awesome to me when he interacts with the community i just wish he or anyone addressed some of the more critical posts that describe the situation very well.

Unfortunately nothing preventing the "idiocy incarnate" to jump on the thread, derail it, and make them pay for responding. It's a no-win for Bungie. But yea, I would prefer they were more transparent and responded to valid questions.

Anyone who has played PC games extensively knows that people will cheat and then claim innocence on the forums and then attack the devs and the community managers like Cozmo. Then all the bandwagon followers will make additional false claims to continue to push the hate filled narrative.

Which just hammers my point home. If there's no evidence don't believe anyone. His "I'll believe Cosmo becuase he has more to lose" is just as bad. If Cosmo is lying this type of thinking will only encourage more lying.

If the company (or someone tasked with speaking on behalf of the company) states, "No one is automatically banned", that certainly has more credibility than someone who was banned and cries innocence. The company has a lot more to lose than the individual -- especially when what they are allegedly "covering up" is not worth risking a lawsuit over. If they said, "oh, some built in systems are not quite working right" it's not a big deal. It's simply not worth lying over. Those few on reddit and here with all the talk of "thousands" being wrongfully banned (I tried counting and found less than 2 dozen) stinks of bullshit. Now, if they were dumping toxic chemicals into public drinking water and hundreds were getting sick, well then the lying would be worth the risk. Banning a user when technically they don't even need a reason (read the eula) is hardly worth a lie. Geez people, use some common sense....

Sorry I'm a long time PC gamer and have worked at several studios as a GM and a CM doing exactly the same thing that Cozmo does at his job. From experience I have learned that gamers by large will lie after getting caught cheating and will find the beast scape goat to claim to the community of their innocence. So my own work history and experience tells me that most are lying. Search destiny 2 PC cheats and you will find lots of topics of people posting how they got caught.
