Lead PC Developer Calls All Banned PC Players Liars

Basically, the official response from Bungie at this time is that all of you banned PC players are lying. According to Bungie, nobody was banned for any overlays and anyone claiming to have been banned for that reason is full of shit! Bungie hasn't listed "getting banned" on the "Known Issues" list for PC because it's not an issue, obviously.
Seriously Bungie?! Your response to all these people getting banned is to say their claims are BS? No official comment that you're actually looking into this?!

This happens all the time with PC games. The first week is filled with people who get caught cheating flooding forums with their innocence. They got caught. Sucks to suck.

People do realize that for most pc game releases there is a huge spike of bans day one... Right? Its getting easier for them to detect cheating software and stop it before its an issue. Dont want to get banned? Dont have the cheating software installed in the first place

1 ReplyHave you ever known a cheat to admit that they deserved to be banned after being caught? I assumed that the bans were from innocuous mistakes that another programme being run was causing it, but it seems that the bans were handed out as programmes that are designed to manipulate the game code were being used. If you were banned because of this then that's great news. If only there was a way to find out if you owned the console version too and ban your cheating ass on that too.

You don't think that their system has an auto detect for any script/program that can inject or modify code in the game? I bet they do and they will investigate that immediately when a flag comes up for it.
