Had high hopes for this game but after the beta I knew deep down it was going to disappoint me and that it did. At base level, I can enjoy it because it looks nice and the shooting feels great. When you start to look beyond that and D2 as a sequel, it's just not that good.
I hate the "we have to compare it to vanilla D1" argument because we gave them 3 years to make that game good. So now people are suggesting we give them more time (and money) to make D2 good. More power to those who are willing to do that but I'll pass this time around. I still find it funny Deej said friendship is the endgame content but this endgame has broken up my clan. Some feel upset because others don't wanna waste time for tokens so now we're split.
I’m just glad I didn’t spend the money for the legendary edition. It’s so many things I loved from D1 that are left out and that makes it hard for me to even play this game :-( As a PvE player I loved the Strike Scoring, Strike Specific Loot, RAID ornaments, Raid perks on gear and Adept weapons from Hard Raid. Why is it not in D2 when this is a "sequel" and why do I feel like I'll have to pay for a good update to bring a lot of the missing features back? smh. So disappointed.
