My team of Destiny 1 (Day one) veterans with thousands of collective raid completions are fine with with taking our lumps and learning how to best complete the hardest content Destiny has to offer.
However, what we're not fine with, is putting up with constant bugs that makes this already challenging raid, near-impossible.
Things such as:
-Holographic players that prevent anybody from spawing in after a wipe.
-Teleporting into the dimension at the beginning of Calus and being thrown 30 feet into the air for no reason.
-Punching the correct Councilor, only for it to not respawn fast enough for the next cycle (ex: melee Sun, next callouts are Axe, Beast, Cup, leaving only Sun remaining, but it hasn't respaned from its last death).
-Being sucked off the side of the inside dimension into the abyss below.
-Psionic Protection not spawning properly in baths so the encounter has to be restarted.
These are just a few of the bugs my team has encountered, feel free to leave any new ones you have below.
(Not to mention how stupidly high the ads health and damage is.)
Bungie, I love you, and your game. My team sherpas raids every reset, and loves doing it. But every person I've spoken with about it, wants to do it once for the emblem, and never again. Players won't want to come back to it if their hard work of fighting through intense challenges is met with game breaking bugs and a chance of no loot but tokens.
Sincerely,
Some dude salty about a videogame.
