Then you got your moneys worth. There were lots of weapons and gear that took me a very long time to get in D1. Maybe they strung you along with unpredictable rng in D1, but it made exotics and other weapons more rewarding when you finally got them. They made D2 way too easy, which is fine but I still feel like D1 was a better experience.
