I had fun at the beginning of the journey. Then I don't know what happened. The final nail in the coffin for me was the absence of prestige raid rewards.
This time around I had the belief that D2 would pick up where year 3 left off. Not a few steps behind vanilla. I am Jack's broken dream.
How are you guys finding the game at this point? How are you spending your time when online? Or are you taking a break till the expansion?
Edit: Trending. I would like to thank you all for your contributions. It isn't satisfying for me that this post has so many people in agreement. I respect that the developers put in long hours and massive amounts of energy to craft Destiny 2. I understand that the product at launch is a foundation that will be built on in time. However, when you review the constructive feedback and the similar ideas from a variety of Guardians. It is genuinely surprising that Bungie didn't anticipate these issues would eventuate. Sadly this culminates in a validation of the title. At this point in time "D2 is Disappointing".

Well, my clan still has a decent amount of players playing. However, my regular raid team and I basically ran out of stuff to do. We didn't bother playing prestige raid because there's really no incentive to play it. We help out the other clan members if and when they need help with the normal raid, but other than that, playtime has definitely gone down. Two of the guys from my raid team actually moved on to Shadow of War and I'm thinking of doing the same until next the next IB.

I want my money back. Bungie should work for the Trump Administration where they could happily screw over people for cheap thrills.

Edited by CRUZZifer: 10/23/2017 9:45:51 AMHad high hopes for this game but after the beta I knew deep down it was going to disappoint me and that it did. At base level, I can enjoy it because it looks nice and the shooting feels great. When you start to look beyond that and D2 as a sequel, it's just not that good. I hate the "we have to compare it to vanilla D1" argument because we gave them 3 years to make that game good. So now people are suggesting we give them more time (and money) to make D2 good. More power to those who are willing to do that but I'll pass this time around. I still find it funny Deej said friendship is the endgame content but this endgame has broken up my clan. Some feel upset because others don't wanna waste time for tokens so now we're split. I’m just glad I didn’t spend the money for the legendary edition. It’s so many things I loved from D1 that are left out and that makes it hard for me to even play this game :-( As a PvE player I loved the Strike Scoring, Strike Specific Loot, RAID ornaments, Raid perks on gear and Adept weapons from Hard Raid. Why is it not in D2 when this is a "sequel" and why do I feel like I'll have to pay for a good update to bring a lot of the missing features back? smh. So disappointed.

It’s easy bungie.. 1 bring back Xander the bounty tracker 2 bring back weapon quartermasters so we have something to spend these useless shards on 3 where did all the planets from D1 go? Let us go to those and have new missions 4 bring back re-rolled gear so we have something to hunt for 5 bring back 6vs6 crucible with the ability to choose matches These are just a few things to bring this game back from the dead

Why disappointed? We will have more emotes next season. That`s all i ever wanted.
-
I like collecting full sets of gear and playing pvp, although i am very disappointed it's only 4v4 rn from someone that likes to be competitive in this game
-
I absolutely hate that I'm about to like this. I tried to stay by this game after the beta after the first month but I realized that I'm not even playing it anymore. I just don't really care about playing it. Sure I have alot less free time that I used to but even when I do have free time I don't play destiny 2. Sad to say but they -blam!-ed up big time for me.

This game blows

Is everyone surprised? I played the first one briefly, until it told me that I had to go online in a web browser to see what happens in the story, wtf? Other than that, a little bit of time online and that was it. Even fans of the game were disappointed in it, I couldn't -blam!-ing believe it when so many people were lined up like lemmings to just throw money at the 2nd one... Gullible people, man... Same thing with Battlefront 2. When a dev makes a shitty game, maybe don't throw money at them when they claim they're making the sequel to be what the first one should have been.
-
No I'm not disappointed at all I was really happy with my experience. However, the oversimplification really shorten the life span of the game and force me to stop way earlier then I would have liked. The gameplay was still fun. The sandbox was similar yet refreshing. But the RPG elements were lacking. Overall I would give Destiny 2 a 7.2 out of 10

Pretty disappointed with the game. I think I stopped playing it in about 2 weeks or so after launch. D2 is nothing more than a expansion except lacking all previous expansions. Normally I come back for the expansions but I may end up staying away from D2 all together this time around. I have no desire to play it again.

After 4 days over the level 20 I reach very high item level without any amazing moment. I have played some nightfall and this is the only nice part of the game because the rest is too easy and very boring. D1 was competitive and satisfy in all moment when you reach the goal, like Warcraft until Cataclysm. The worse aspect of D2 is the connection problem: some friend left because are unable to sort out many bug (Cabbage, Baboon ecc). I need to play alone or with the only lucky have right internet connection. Bungie doesn't say anything about this and it's a shame!

What it took all you fan boys until now to figure this out? They been getting away with shipping unfinished games without raids, without all pvp modes, without full character subclass development, without finished dlcs before you purchase them plus locking you out of game content and giving it to you as a dlc, and essentially charging each individual player $200 for a UNFINISHED GAME AND NOW YOU FIGURE IT OUT 3 YEARS LATER? I’m sorry but it’s guys like you is why the game sucks, cuz you shoulda boycotted it when house of wolves dropped!

Edited by xxCRSxx: 10/23/2017 4:43:43 AMReally sucks, seems like a big money grab from bungie. We don't even have half of the game we left in d1.
